3. James Jones can still throw it down.

James Jones is on his way to the Finals for the seventh consecutive year. He has provided an indispensable veteran leadership for the Cavs. Kevin Love has said that Jones is the “best teammate I’ve ever had.” LeBron has said that Jones is his favorite teammate.

Jones hasn’t seen much playing time for Cleveland the past two seasons. Generally he only sees the floor in blowouts. In Game 5 he was able to closeout the game because the Cavs’ big advantage and he made the most of it.

He capped off the night with an impressive tip-in slam for an old veteran.

The benches’ reaction was priceless.

I personally didn’t know that Jones could still get up like that. There’s no better way to cap off his own seventh straight trip to the Finals than a tip-in dunk.
