The Cleveland Cavaliers went into the locker room up forty-one points which is the largest halftime margin in NBA postseason history.

LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers are incredible. They lit up the Boston Celtics for 72 first half points, and they made it known that they are the best team in the East.

The game and series is basically over after this. The Cavs will coast to victory and have the next two games at home with their ruckus crowd behind them.

It was their efficiency. The Cavs shot 59% in the first half, and they just blew the home team out of their own building. It was the second quarter in which the Cavs really blew it away. They scored 40 points and allowed only 13 points. This changed the entire game and took the energy right from the crowd.

LeBron James was in the zone and excelled even more in the third. He had 30 points on 12-of-18 shooting with 18 minutes left in the game. This might be him reenacting his revenge on the NBA for not making him an MVP finalist.

It was actually interesting how the Cavs managed to score the last couple points that set the record. It was an incredible J.R. Smith buzzer-beater which can be seen below.

This is truly a beat down. Most analysts and fans thought that Boston might try to rival the East’s top team on this night, but it simply wasn’t the case. The game was broken open in the first, and the Cavs never looked back. Now we will wait a couple days till their is another slaughter at the Q.

Isaiah Thomas exited the game in the third quarter and failed to come back, so it seems like the white flag was officially thrown in.
