I wish I could predict a Cavs sweep, but that would be a pipe dream. Home court advantage actually matters in the NBA, unlike other sports.

After all this is the Eastern Conference Finals we are taking about. I think the Cavaliers can handle business in 5 games if all goes according to plan.

The main X Factor in the series is Isiah Thomas. Boston is fueled by his energy and by his play. If the Cavaliers can lock him down, the series should be a breeze. A name too keep your eyes on this series is Kyrie Irving. After a disappointing first two rounds of the playoffs, look for him to get his mojo back. Look for Boston to be the first real threat this Cavaliers team has faced in quite some time.

However, the lack of a true superstar is what really plagues the Celtics. Isiah Thomas is a good player but he’s not in the superstar tier of players with the big guns: Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook.
