5 Keys For the Cleveland Cavaliers Success In The Eastern Conference Finals
5. LeBron and Kyrie Have To Step Up In Late Game Moments
LeBron James is having arguably his best playoff run this postseason. He’s averaging 34.4 points, 9 rebounds, and 7.1 assists on 55.7% shooting. Don’t expect LeBron to slow down against Boston. They don’t have a Serge Ibaka like rim-protector, so expect him to attack the rim and get to the free throw line often.
All three of Cleveland’s stars will get their usual numbers, but the key factor will be their performances with under five minutes in the forth-quarter.
The Celtics play very well at home. With three of the first five games being played in Boston, expect some of the games to be close.
In a close game, the team with the best player usually wins, giving the advantage to the Cavaliers.
I expect LeBron and Kyrie Irving to make some clutch plays during pivotal moments of the series and lift Cleveland to their third straight NBA Finals in six games.
