5. The Cavs continue to control the three-point line.

More and more the NBA is shifting to a league that you can’t win unless you can shoot the three-ball. Just look at the last handful of teams to win the Finals since the 2012-2013 season began. They are all excellent three-point shooting teams.

Once again the Cavs beat the Raptors by controlling the three-point line.

Cleveland made only one more field goal in than Toronto did but because they were dominant from behind the arc, they won by 21 points.

The Cavs outscored the Raptors by 33 points from the three-point line.

Toronto was just 2 of 18 from behind the arc.

You won’t win many playoff games making only 2 out 18 shots from behind the line but especially if the other team hits nine more threes.

At the end of the day it’s a make or miss league.

Toronto missed way too many threes to last in a battle of attrition with the Cleveland Cavaliers.
