Cavs vs Raptors Game 2: What We Learned
What did we learn from Game 2’s sensational win and the stellar performance by the Cleveland Cavaliers?
The Cleveland Cavaliers dominated the Toronto Raptors in every single aspect of the game once again with a 125-103 win. The Cavaliers head to Toronto looking to take a stranglehold on the series.
LeBron James was sensational once again in Game 2. He dominated the game from beginning to end. James finished the game with 39 points on 10 of 14 shooting including 4 of 6 from deep. Kyrie Irving added 22 points and 11 assists. This is the second straight game that he finished with 10 or more assists. Channing Frye (18 points) and Iman Shumpert (14 points) had solid games off the bench.
Demar DeRozan and Kyle Lowry struggled once again. They finished the game with a combined 25 points on 9 of 23 shooting. Jonas Valanciunas provided the scoring for Toronto with 23 points of his own.
Lowry left the game with a left ankle injury during the third quarter. Toronto doesn’t look to have a chance in this series as is. Losing Lowry would be a major blow to the slim chances they already had.
