7. Sunday could be the last time Paul George plays for the Pacers.

Indiana had a golden opportunity to make this a close series. They played their best basketball of the season in the first half, but it wasn’t enough.

George is a perennial all-star and one of the best players in the Eastern Conference. That being said the Pacers still haven’t gotten him a solid second option they could build a team around.

There have been rumors swirling that George could be on the move in free agency. Those rumors could be even louder if they get swept in the first round.

I have a hard time seeing the Pacers bounce back from a demoralizing loss like this. Hopefully for Indiana’s sake, this wasn’t one of the last time George wears a Pacers uniform. If it is they ultimately have no one to blame then themselves. They were the ones that couldn’t provide him with a capable team he needed to advance in the East.
