6. LeBron really needs to figure out his free-throw shooting.

James has had one of the best seasons of his career in almost every statistical category. Free-throw shooting is the one exception to that. He posted his worst career free-throw shooting percentage this season. He has been even worse in the playoffs.

James has been working with Korver on his free-throw shooting motion. LeBron has changed how he aligns his feet on free-throws. This seems to have only made things worse.

LeBron was an awful 7 of 14 from the line in Game 3. He switched back to his stance at the end of the game. That didn’t work out well either as he went 2 for 4 using his old shot.

Free-throw shooting is key to closing out close playoff games like this. The Cavs could easily lose a close playoff game later on if James continues to struggle at the line.
