5. Channing Frye can come up big in the clutch.

Frye proved to be the hero in Game 3. He finished with 13 points and sunk the game clinching three at the end of the game.

Sinking that three was a feel good moment for Frye. He has had a very tough season. He lost both of is parents in the beginning of the year. Part of Frye’s struggles on the court could be due to their loss. Having a big game like today could go a long way for his confidence.

What made that game clinching three even sweeter for Frye was that it came in front of the Pacer’s bench and his former coach Nate McMillan. Frye played for McMillan years ago in Portland. However, McMillan barely played Frye. Partly because he didn’t believe in his skill. Years later Frye was able to prove him wrong by hitting a three to overcome the biggest deficit in postseason history.

Sometimes revenge really is a dish best served cold.
