NBA2K now has a simulation showing LaVar Ball taking on LeBron James 1-on-1.

LaVar Ball, the father known for his talented sons and his outlandish remarks, recently drew the ire of Cleveland Cavaliers small forward LeBron James by seemingly putting a cap on his sons’ NBA talents.

While Ball does make a fair point about how superstar’s sons have panned out, the way he’s portrayed himself to the media doesn’t allow for his comments to be perceived as innocent. It’s more or less seen as an attack. Father Ball trash-talking the James Gang. That’s something the patriarch of the James family didn’t take lightly.

To show Ball up on-the-court would be beneath James, possibly. He might get hurt trying to show-up a guy who has done nothing on the basketball court to warrant that type of one-on-one action. However, after Ball told USA Today that he would “kill Michael Jordan 1-on-1″ (NBA2K also made a simulation for that scenario), every NBA fan in the world wants Ball to show us that he’s good.

To show us that he’s more than just talk. Sure, he beat Marcellus Wiley in some version of a one-on-one game on ESPN’s SportsNation but Wiley is no Jordan, no LeBron.

While we may never see Father Ball against Papa James in a real setting, thankfully the team at Sport’s Illustrated has given us an NBA2K simulation that shows us just that.

In the simulation, Ball scores one basket. Which would, coincidentally, put him right at his  average of 2.2 points per game. The notorious scoring average he put up at the University of Washington. Just a bit over the scoring average that Skip Bayless had during his senior season at Northwest Classen High School.

Hopefully, you all enjoy this simulation. It’s delightfully entertaining even if you love LaVar’s enthusiasm and confidence in his sons because in a way, it’s the visual that we all want. That visual being Ball being decimated by a player he couldn’t hold a torch to.
