Endless Combinations

If the Cavs can keep improving their defensive chemistry, they are more than capable of beating anybody in this league. It’s up to coach Lue to find creative ways to get Deron Williams involved and keep the rest of the bench rolling all together.

That should take some time, but the Cavs should be just fine. Shams Charania of The Vertical reported that they just added veteran big Andrew Bogut, too, which should pay dividends for the health of Tristan Thompson.

He hadn’t had the greatest start to the season for the Dallas Mavericks, but he should fit in great with the Cavs. When Bogut went out in the Finals last year as a member of the Golden State Warriors, it really opened up driving lanes for King James and the rest of the Cavs. His defensive box plus/minus of 5.4 this season proves just how good of a rim protector he still is in this league. When you put him out on the floor with this trio of two-way players in James, Korver, and D-Thrill, the results could be even more astronomical.

Overall, the Cavs can play just about any style with a number of lineup combinations. The number of acquisitions they’ve made over the past few months have been crucial to the team’s success, and the numbers prove that. Bogut and both D-Will’s, along with Korver and Bron, could be a formidable lineup in itself to throw at opponents.
