Most of the puzzle pieces are coming together for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and that’s scary for the rest of the league.

When you have LeBron James, a season will have its storylines. The Cleveland Cavaliers have somehow been able to right the “playmaker” ship, though, and had a tremendous month of February. Cleveland.com’s Joe Vardon reported they went 9-2, which was the best February mark in the Association.

It was, in fact, a historic month offensively as well. The Wine and Golders scored a franchise record 117.4 per game in the month, according to Vardon. To add to that, Kyle Korver has really established himself as an ideal offensive weapon for LeBron and company. He’s shooting a scorching hot 51.2% from three in 22 games with the Land. What’s even more ridiculous? I mean really, it’s getting really ridiculous? His effective field goal rate is 70.3%. That’s NOT a typo.

Korver has opened up so much for this team offensively, as his offensive rating is a career-high 125 since playing with the King. Coincidence? I think not, as LeBron’s penetration has extended shooters’ shelf lives his entire career (HELLO Ray Allen). However, the trio of the King, Korver, and new arrival Derrick Williams has begun to have a life of its own, too.

The chemistry is beginning to materialize on the floor throughout the course of games, as was the case a few games back against the New York Knicks.  This trio combined to have a box plus/minus of 52, in large part due to Korver’s 27.
