LeBron James made a statement during All-Star weekend and said he doesn’t share a rivalry with Stephen Curry. Is LeBron right or is he in denial?

NBA All-Star weekend was filled with several different headlines. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook had an awkward reunion, DeMarcus Cousins was traded to the Pelicans, and Kyrie Irving (jokingly?) suggested the earth may be flat. He recommends you do your own research on that issue.

LeBron James also made headlines by saying he doesn’t consider Stephen Curry to be his “rival.” It was certainly a controversial statement as many consider LeBron and Curry to be arch-enemies. Ben Maller of Fox Sports claims that LeBron is “jealous” of Steph since he is the most popular player on the planet.

Yes, Stephen Curry is the most popular player in the NBA. He currently leads the league in jersey sales and is the most relatable player. Kids can imitate his 3-point shooting and pattern their own basketball game after him. Young kids can’t be LeBron, not everyone is born 6’8 and can jump out of the gym.
