Cleveland Cavaliers: Pre-ASG Player Grades
2016-2017 season averages:

53.9 percent shooting on all field goals, 38.9 percent on three-point attempts
How LeBron James has performed prior to the All-Star break:
This could be LeBron James best season ever and for a man who is one of the two greatest players to ever play the game, that’s saying something. At 32-years-old, James is dunking more than ever, shooting the three-point ball and passing better than ever, reviving his midrange game and dominating in the low-post. He’s playing 37.5 minutes per game and still looks like the most athletic player on the court against most teams. This is also the first season that James seems to have found equal balance in dominating as a perimeter player and from the post. While Russell Westbrook and James Harden lead the MVP discussion, James winning the award while essentially being the engine of the only team that has taken down the Golden State Warriors in the past two years wouldn’t be mind-boggling.
The best moment of James’ season so far? Scoring 44 points against the Charlotte Hornets in a masterful performance.
