Cleveland Cavaliers: Pre-ASG Player Grades
2016-2017 season averages (CLE only):

60.0 percent shooting on all field goals, 37.5 percent on three-point attempts
How Derrick Williams has performed prior to the All-Star break:
Derrick Williams hasn’t had to do much to be successful for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Much for a former second overall pick, in any case. Nonetheless, the fact that Williams can guard all five positions, handle the ball and play above-the-rim provide the champs with a player that has a skill-set with similarities to LeBron James’ and that’s invaluable. With Williams on the team, the Cleveland Cavaliers are able to play position-less lineups that they’ll definitely want to use in the playoffs. Williams has been ultra-efficient, energetic and provided the Cavs with a spark since signing a 10-day contract.
Williams’ highlight of the season was on Valentine’s Day. On the first game after Kevin Love had knee surgery, Williams scored 13 points and had 6 rebounds while playing 23 minutes. He knocked down 5-7 shots from the field. His offensive rating of 147 was the third-highest of the team and his defensive rating of 110 was the lowest on the team.
