2016-2017 season averages:

9.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 0.5 blocks per game

43.7 percent shooting on all field goals, 40.8 percent on three-point attempts

How Channing Frye has performed prior to the All-Star break:

Channing Frye is a sharpshooting forward-center who gives the Cavs the ability to put two lengthy big men on the floor who are elite three-point shooters. That factors in heavily against teams that like to play a traditional frontcourt. However, Frye has also been inconsistent defensively this season. In some games, he looks uninterested in protecting the rim and unable to stop players from scoring. Then there are games when he’s active, in the right spot and comes up with a block or two. Frye has taken too many shots off the dribble this season though. He only converts 33.3 percent of his shots when he takes 2 dribbles and 37.5 percent of his shots when he takes 3 dribbles or more.

Frye’s best game this season was a recent one. He hit 4-of-11 threes and scored 21 points while also having 10 rebounds in place of an injured Kevin Love. He also had two blocks in the contest.
