2016-2017 season averages:

20.0 points, 1.9 assists, 11.1 rebounds, 0.9 steals per game

42.9 percent shooting on all field goals, 38.4 percent on three-point attempts

How Kevin Love has performed prior to the All-Star break:

Kevin Love has been sensational this season and it resulted in him earning All-Star honors for the first time in his stint with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Love slimmed down in the offseason, probably for both basketball and modeling purposes, and has been able to add some wrinkles to his game because of it. This season, you’ll see Love literally burst towards the rim from the perimeter or in the pick-and-roll. Not enough is made of his ability to stick with guards on the perimeter either. Love has been solid on rotations as well, though he doesn’t often jump to contest shots and isn’t a rim-protector because of it. Love’s ability to be an elite rebounder and three-point shooter is unprecedented and he doesn’t get enough credit for his unique abilities or his improvement this season.

The highlight of Love’s season came against the Portland Trail Blazers as he scored 34 points in the first quarter. It was the second-most points in a single quarter in NBA history and the most points ever in the first quarter.
