C Larry Sanders

Free Agent

6-foot-11, 235 pounds

Career averages: (5 seasons):

6.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.8 blocks per game

48.0 percent shooting on all field goal attempts

What he can bring to the Cleveland Cavaliers:

Before Larry Sanders’ exodus from the NBA, one that was caused by clinical depression and failed drug tests, he was one of the fastest rising stars in the NBA. Sanders is an athletic and lanky rim-protector that has career-highs of 9.8 points, 9.5 rebounds and 2.8 blocks per game. For the Cavs, he’s a rim-protector that, unlike Tyson Chandler of Andrew Bogut, will like thrive in a full-court game. In addition, Sanders will be able to step out on the perimeter to guard on occasion with his mobility and length. The biggest thing Sanders can help the Cleveland Cavaliers with is depth. The roster is extremely thin behind Tristan Thompson at center.
