PG Jordan Farmar

Free Agent (workout with Cleveland Cavaliers on 2/1/2017)

6-foot-2, 180 pounds

Career averages (10 seasons):

7.7 points, 2.9 assists, 0.8 steals

42.3 percent shooting on all field goal attempts, 37.4 percent on three-point attempts

What he can bring to the Cleveland Cavaliers:

At 30 years old, Jordan Farmar is a two-way player that isn’t the average point guard. He’s an intelligent defender and despite his lack of athleticism, he has quick hands and can be a decent thief. On the offensive end he thrives as both a three-point threat and playmaker. His three-point shot is as consistent as they come, as he hasn’t shot under 35.0 percent in a season since 2009. Because of his ball-handling and what may be an underrated basketball IQ, Farmar is able to consistently work a teammate open for the assist. With the Cleveland Cavaliers second unit, Farmar should be a welcome surprise with his play on both ends.
