2006 All-Star Game

After getting his feet wet in 2005, LeBron was ready to dominate. James became the youngest MVP in all-star history as he led the way with 29 points on 12 of 21 shooting.

While we don’t think of winning the all-star game MVP as being a big deal, it was at the time. At this point in his career, LeBron had not been on a playoff team.

While he had lived up to the hype until that point, he had not had the opportunity to dominate in a national showcase event in the NBA. This was the beginning of LeBron establishing himself as a top player in the league.
