PG Jrue Holiday

2016-2017 season averages: 16.2 points, 7.5 assists per game

What he can bring to the Cleveland Cavaliers:

Jrue Holiday (whose name is autocorrected to “True” every time I type it, making me wonder if it should be his new nickname) is the most talented player on this list. Holiday is a player that can guard multiple positions, can score from all over the court and is a fantastic facilitator. Off-the-court, Holiday is family man and professional.

With one-year left on his contract though, and the ability to sign with a team that has a better chance of winning a championship than the New Orleans Pelicans, Holiday is a player that the franchise may choose to trade so that they get some type of return.

If acquired, Holiday should be considered a Manu Ginobli-like player for the Cavs. They should start him at shooting guard but keep him on the floor to be a playmaker for the second unit.

That allows Holiday to focus on a three-and-D role within the starting lineup and freestyle with the others.
