Trade #1: The Atlanta Hawks

Hawks acquire DeAndre Liggins and the Cavaliers acquire Gary Neal.

Why the Cavaliers would do it:

Like I previously stated, the Cavaliers would like to score trading gold on a playmaking point guard. Gary Neal is both of those. He is aging, and he may not be on the team next season, but the Cavaliers could use him. His lethal three point shooting would allow more spacing for on the offense side.

Why the Hawks would do it:

The Hawks are in the process of a youth movement. They gave the team over to Dennis Schroder, and they have actively looked to shop Paul Millsap. While they are excelling as a team, the Hawks could use another defense mastermind to side with Thabo Sefolosha. This would bolster the Hawks perimeter defense.
