Trade #12: The Grindhouse Transaction

Cavaliers acquire Chandler Parsons; Grizzles acquire J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert.

Why Cleveland would do it:

Cleveland has an array of shooting guards. Five to be accurate. They are giving away two which means they have three. So, assuming Parson would play only backup SF and Jefferson would move, Liggins would then take the backup SG minutes. Parsons would be a terrific playmaker for the Cavs bench, and he has been in a funk in Memphis, so why not?

Why Memphis would do it:

Memphis needs shooters. Parsons has been lackluster in his stay in Memphis while being hurt, so hopefully maybe a new environment can help him. Smith could come back and give the Griz a more dynamic offense and Shump would be able to add his presence to an aging team.

This is definitely an interesting trade and probably one of the ones that Cavalier fans would be against, so let me know what you think!
