In Conclusion

Tyronn Lue has done a masterful job as the coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

At times, Lue does make mistakes as every coach has. Before playing Liggins in the starting unit, Lue consistently played Dunleavy Jr. although the latter wasn’t playing well in his role as a sharpshooter and intelligent defender.

He should be applauded for how he’s taken control of the Cleveland Cavaliers team. He recognizes each of their unique talents and allows them to thrive as individuals while creating a system that simplifies their roles. When he takes the podium, Lue has all the media’s attention. The difference between him and Blatt is that when he takes the podium, the media is trying to goad Lue into making a headline.

There are a few coaches who seem like perfect fits for their team. Coaches like Steve Kerr, Gregg Popovich, Brad Stevens and Quin Snyder have created a system and philosophy that the franchise stands behind and the players have bought into. Lue is another one of those coaches.
