Who goes in a trade?

Quenton Albertie: Williams and Mike Dunleavy Jr. are the only two players that can be traded but not affect the core unit of the Cavs. Dunleavy Jr. was brought in to fit with the core but hasn’t and while I don’t know if it means he’s finished, he certainly looked good in the preseason, his value for the Cavaliers group is now as a trade asset than a rotation player. Jordan McRae could go but I don’t see teams wanting to deal with his restricted free agency when they’ve barely had time to assess his fit on their roster. I would like the Cavs to keep their first round pick this year. There are a lot of good point guards and combo forwards that should be available when the Cavs pick.

Jackson Flickinger: I would think McRae would be the one gone in any type of deal. He has the most value out of any piece that doesn’t get regular rotation minutes. There is no way that the Cavs would give up a player like Shumpert or Liggins that are getting rotation minutes.

Daniel Opacich: If a trade were to be concocted at this time, the only two that make sense to be traded are Mo Williams and McRae. I just don’t see that happening, because neither is able to offer anything substantial in a trade. Throw in a pick to add value?
