Who would your vote go to, for any reasonable acquisition, to be Cleveland’s backup point guard?

Quenton Albertie: Any player? Right now? D.J. Augustin, Mario Chalmers, or Sergio Rodriguez . Guys who can score their own points and facilitate too, basically. Point guards who will keep the second unit rolling with their savvy and skill. Players that can defend as well.

Jackson Flickinger: I like the idea of Chalmers just because the Cavaliers wouldn’t have to be giving up anything to acquire him. I don’t think this is a move that the Cavs need to take right away. Iman Shumpert and DeAndre Liggins have earned the right to show the Cavaliers what they can do sharing the backup point guard role. The Cavs have no reason to rush into making a move for a back up point guard. At least not right now.

Daniel Opacich: Without clearing Mo Williams from the roster through trade, it would be quite costly to release him and sign another backup point guard. Keep giving Shumpert and Liggins the backup point guard minutes. Between the two you have two capable defenders, and at least one that can be productive offensively.
