If you ask Los Angeles Rams offensive lineman Rodger Saffold, LeBron James is a “perfect” NFL quarterback.

James is one of the most unique athletes in the world. He’s 6-foot-8 and around 150 pounds but moves at a 4.4 speed and has explosiveness that allows him to have a 44-inch vertical leap. Furthermore, James has tremendous coordination and timing. In terms of what James brings to the table from a mental standpoint, James loves to do his homework on his team, opposing teams and league history. He has a photographic memory and uses his gift to take advantage of team’s defenses.

James may not like the contact of playing wide receiver or even tight end however he’s a 6-foot-9 behemoth being tackled by slight-framed defensive backs. In any case, James starred as an All-State receiver at St. Vincent- St. Mary’s.

Yet, James is naturally fit to play the quarterback position. You’ll agree if you’ve ever watched him pass the ball all around the court in a Cleveland Cavaliers or Miami Heat game.

Whether James leaves the NBA briefly to play in the NFL, tries to be a two-sport athlete for a season or attempts to play in the NFL after he retires from the NBA, James should be considered by every team that needs a quarterback. Even teams that don’t need one.

Here’s a list of five teams King James Gospel would love to see James suit up for.
