  • Unlike the other games in the series, this one was close for almost the entire contest. But led by LeBron and his triple double, as well as Kyrie, the Cavs edged out the reigning champs in one of their most important games ever.

LeBron scored 27 points (including 8-of-10 on free throws), grabbed 11 rebounds, dished out 11 assists and had two steals. Kyrie scored 26 points with six rebounds, one assist, one steal and one block. Love had only nine points but a whopping 14 rebounds, on top of three assists and two steals. And Smith had 12 points, four rebounds, two assists and one steal, while Shumpert added six points and a very important four-point play.

In the fourth quarter, the score was 89-89 and no one had scored for four minutes. LeBron had one of the most important blocks of his career, perhaps one of the most important blocks in the history of the NBA. Finally, with 50 seconds left, Kyrie drained a three and the Cavs never looked back.

After LeBron put the finishing touch on with a free throw and the Cavs won the game 93-89. They became NBA champions for the first time in franchise history and Cleveland finally won a major sports title in over half a century.
