2016 was a special year for Love, winning his first NBA title. It was also in 2016 that he recorded a 29-point game with the Cavs for the first time and it was against the Pistons. He was 9-for-19 on field goals, 5-for-7 on threes and a perfect 6-of-6 from the free throw stripe. He also recorded six rebounds (all defensive) and three assists, and finished with a plus/minus of plus-17. The Cavs won the game 114-106.
