August continues to be a dry month in terms of NBA news, but this edition of Cleveland Cavaliers Daily recaps the best content from the past week.
The Cleveland Cavaliers did not make any major transactions this week, but that hasn’t stopped us from speculating on how they could improve their roster. As popular for this time of year, though rosters appear set, people like to speculate how a team can improve their team in quest for a championship, or in the Cavs case defending one.

While the NBA has slowed down their operations, there is plenty of basketball headlines, especially surrounding the Olympics. Even LeBron James is talking about the Olympics. He hasn’t ruled out a return for the 2020 Olympics, and claims to have “left the door open” for a possible return.
Kyrie Irving will play for a gold medal at the 2016 Olympics on Sunday against Serbia. He scored 13 points in the semifinal game against Spain and Ricky Rubio.
Ownership? LeBron mentioned that he would like to be an owner when his playing days are over, which hopefully isn’t in the near future.
