Tristan Thompson’s Put-Back Plus Foul, Game 3

The Cavs had a rough start to the Finals, going down 2-0 to the Golden State Warriors. Game 3 was critical and every Cavs player understood this. One such player was Tristan Thompson, who knew he had to step up, especially without his rebounding mate Kevin Love, who sat out with a concussion.

Thompson had a fantastic game, finishing with 14 points on 5-of-6 shooting and was 4-for-5 from the free-throw line. He also had 13 rebounds (seven offensive, six defensive), two assists and a plus/minus of plus-21. One of his baskets was the put back (shown above) where he got the rebound and the basket despite being surrounded by several defenders.
