Kevin Love Drains the Three, Game 1

Although Kevin Love struggled during the NBA Finals, he was extremely important to the Cavs as he carried a portion of the load throughout the entire season. This allowed LeBron to get the necessary rest for the Finals, which was evident by his performance, leading all players in every category for the first time in NBA Finals history.

Still, Love had his moments in the Finals. Love drained an important three that cut an 11-point Warriors lead to single digits in the second quarter of Game 1. He saved that possession and made it count for something, as Kyrie Irving originally missed his shot.

In the same game, Love made another important play with a strong move, a basket and a foul that cut into Golden State’s 4-point lead.

Game 1 (June 2, 2016)
