Iman Shumpert’s 4-Point Play, Game 7

After clawing their way back from a 3-1 deficit, the Cavs had just one more game to win to bring that elusive title to Cleveland. The first quarter of Game 7 was a close one that ended with Cleveland up by one point. And the tight race continued through the start of the second quarter.

Down by just two, LeBron whipped a pass to Iman Shumpert who shot the three and right before the ball swished through the hoop, the ref’s whistle blew. Shumpert stepped to the free throw line and knocked down the shot for a four-point play, giving Cleveland a two point lead and some energy. It was the Cavs’ first three pointer of the game and it came from an unlikely source in Shumpert, who had gone just 3-of-12 from three in the Finals.
