2. 2015-16 “Pride” Jerseys

The Pride jerseys have a special story behind them.

In Game 5 of the NBA Finals, staring in the face of elimination, the Cavaliers wore the jerseys LeBron infamously ripped mid-game because they were too tight.

After undergoing sleeve alterations and having the NBA Finals patch firmly affixed, the Cavaliers picked the Golden State Warriors apart behind two, all-time great, 41-point performances by both LeBron and Kyrie Irving.

The Cavaliers also won the NBA title in these jerseys and that, if not for the many years of mythic play LeBron gave to Cleveland in his first stint, would be good enough for a first-place ranking.

However, the tale of James starts with his upbringing in Cleveland. The story isn’t even relevant if nobody tells the NBA that before James brought a title to Cleveland in his second year after The Return, he tried and failed to bring them a championship for the first seven years of his career.
