Nothing Except A Superteam Will Beat These Golden State Warriors

Durant, like Curry, will be elite in iso and catch-and-shoot situations. He can get anywhere on the court and hit from everywhere. The offense will be free-flowing and beautiful to watch but also intent on getting ball in Durant’s hands to score.

The focus on getting Durant the ball is important, as Durant wasn’t as consistently involved in the Oklahoma City Thunder’s offense as one would expect. With a balanced scoring attack the Warriors will likely be more efficient last year and it starts with Durant, who is an elite iso player who gets what would be a good shot for anybody up, not just himself.

In addition, fans should expect to see a marked improvement in Durant’s defensive numbers.

His length and positional versatility on this team will be used well as he will be allowed to roam and jump passing lanes as the Warriors look to get out in transition.

In a “Super Death Lineup” he’ll be able to suffocate smaller players on the perimeter as opposing teams try to match Golden State’s length and quickness. He’d be the Warriors most valuable player.

Regardless of if the Cavaliers want to trade Kevin Love or not the team needs to add a fourth superstar to contend with the Golden State Warriors. Adding Durant makes them instant and overwhelming title favorites.
