A simple 1 for 1 trade that could easily add other pieces. Dwight Howard would give the Cavs a shot blocking presence who can also rebound well and roll to the rim to finish. He struggles to stay focused but defensively he could help the Cavs guard the paint while having enough foot quickness to guard multiple positions on the pick and roll.

Not a perfect fit as he and Tristan Thompson would clog the lane when playing together so another move, maybe with Timofey Mozgov, would be needed to balance the floor. Howard can be a free agent at the end of the season which could end any talk of this.

The Rockets love Space and Pace which Love could fit right into while also being under contract for the long term.
