Tradition is a dying aspect in the NBA though, in terms of the fashion statements teams make on the court anyway. No longer will you see a team just wear their traditional threads, as new themed jerseys are popping up seemingly daily.

For the Cavaliers, they have taken a dramatic spike upwards, as they have rocked eight- yes, eight- different uniform combinations this season. This is quite the contrary to the 2010/11 season, when the Cavs introduced their new strips, the current home white and road win jerseys.
Cleveland rolling out a number of new jerseys is simply smart business. With the immense popularity the Cavaliers have worldwide, making new jerseys yields greater jersey sales, which creates more profit for the franchise. You don’t need to have a degree in business to figure that one out.
