12+ Possible Timofey Mozgov Replacements
The Western Conference was supposed to be very good again. Right now a team below .500, the Jazz, are set to make the playoffs. A few teams that hoped to push for a playoff spot have struggled and might be willing to shake things up.
The Kings signed Koufos but also drafted Willie Cauley-Stein and have Demarcus Cousins. Koufos is still averaging 21 minutes a game and playing very well. If the Kings decided to shake things up, the Cavs could try to pry away Koufos. He is averaging 7.4 points, 6 rebounds and almost a block per game. He might be the perfect replacement for Timo.
The Pelicans thought they paired a good defensive big man to go with Anthony Davis but they haven’t played well together. His contract both could make a trade difficult and give the Cavs big pause in making the deal. Asik has started 28 games but is only playing less than 17 minutes. He is putting up 3 points and 5.2 rebounds. He isn’t really protecting the rim at all but is a big center that takes up space.
