These names won’t overly excite anyone but would be the lower level type of players that could give the Cavs some big man help and likely come cheaply.

Joel Anthony

Anthony is well known by LeBron from their time in Miami. His playing time has dropped since starting 51 games in 2011-12 with the Heat. He has long arms and good timing on defense. He has little offensive talent though and has not aged well. The Pistons likely would have no problem parting with a player who has played in 12 games.

Jeff Withey

Withey isn’t a name that is going to get Cavs fans that excited but the former Kansas star center has been making the most of his minutes in Utah. Playing because of Rudy Gobert‘s injury, Withey has started 9 games and averaged almost 16 minutes a game. His 5.1 points and 4.5 rebounds are nice but his 1.3 blocks per game may be the most exciting.

With Gobert and Derrick Favors, the Jazz should be willing to move Withey at the right price. Whether the Cavs can figure out what that price is, most likely in a multi-team deal, will be interesting.

Robert Sacre

The Lakers are terrible and playing for Kobe Bryant this year. The 7 foot Sacre has played in only 13 games, after starting 18 last year. The former Gonzaga center is nothing exciting but is a good overall player that should be easy to acquire as the Lakers try to figure out how to rebuild correctly.
