12 Potential Trade Targets For Cavs
By Luke Sicari
Luke Babbitt, New Orleans Pelicans
A name that has floated in and out of the rumor mill throughout his career, Babbitt would be able to provide the Cavaliers with a strong outside threat but he doesn’t bring the intensity needed on the defensive end.

Babbitt hasn’t really found his rhythm from downtown this season, as he is shooting just 32.0% from three-point range, after connecting on 51.3% from three-point range last season. Babbitt is a career 39.5% shooter from downtown, so he can hit the outside shot that the Cavs need him to.
On the defensive end though, it gets pretty ugly for Babbitt. Opponents are shooting 54.2% when being guarded by Babbitt this season, which is 11.1% better than their season average. While Babbitt gives the Cavs an outside threat, his defense is too much of a liability for Cleveland to seriously consider him.
