The Philadelphia 76ers haven’t tried to compete over the last few years. They hope that Joel Embiid will be healthy and their center of the future. Embiid can shoot, defend in the paint and cover up and of Love’s defensive limitations. With Dario Saric to come over from Europe in the next couple years, the Sixers would have their big men rotation set.

The Cavs swing for the fences with this trade. Porzingis has a lot of analysts who love him and think he could be the best player in this draft. He can play the 4 in the mold of Kevin Love but also is considered a shot blocker. Getting Nerlens Noel, who has developed his jump shot, gives the Cavs depth at the center position with another shot blocker.
This trade isn’t perfect for either teams but is a way for the Cavs to lengthen their window with some young bigs that don’t need the ball to be successful. Those two bigs could run the floor great with Irving and LeBron. Concern about the rail thin players the Cavs would acquire is real but their skill level is certain.
While none of these trades are perfect, or likely, they are interesting. Love is most likely staying in Cleveland but if the Cavs look to move him these trades could work. We would love to hear some of you Kevin Love trade scenarios that you think are reasonable or interesting.
