The Phoenix Suns have been connected to Kevin Love for years, even as their front office has changed hands. Love would give the Suns a shooter much better than Channing Frye who lit things up for the Suns before moving on to the Magic. Love can fit next to center Alex Len and playing the two Morris twins at the small forward spot. With Brendan Knight seen as their PG of the future, trading Bledsoe is an option and has been rumored this off-season.
For the Cavs, Bledsoe gives them another facilitator, something Griffin talked about wanting, and a defensive minded player that can start next to Irving. Bledsoe is close with LeBron and his athleticism, open floor ability and defense would fit perfect. Bullock is a strong player who is a good shooter. He hasn’t been able to find his footing in the NBA but could give the Cavs another shooter and a backup small forward that isn’t currently on the roster.
Adding the 13th pick gives the Cavs some options. They can draft a young player, even a shooting big man like Trey Lyles or Frank Kaminsky to replace some of what Love did for the team. They can also use that pick to trade for a veteran that they believe can help them win now. Bledsoe, Bullock and Kaminsky would fill 3 of the Cavs biggest off-season needs.
