During Game One of the Cleveland Cavaliers vs Boston Celtics series, many things stood out for both teams. Looking a little rattled during the first quarter, the Cavs seemed to find themselves and showed that they can dominate the series like everyone thought they could. Although game one showed that this series may be exactly what it’s expected to be, there are things to look for during Game Two of Cavs Vs Celtics.

1. Kyrie’s confidence

Kyrie Irving did not look like a playoff rookie during game one of this series versus the Celtics. Finishing with 30 points, Irving seemed very calm and collected during his playoff debut. Many people expected Irving, along with other Cavs’ players, to look nervous during this opening round and not perform well early in the series. Well, Irving showed that he isn’t nervous. It’ll be interesting to see if Irving’s confidence remains as high during game two as it was in game one.

2. Can the Celtics score?

The Celtics scrapped their way through the regular season by having one of the best defenses in the NBA. During the postseason though, the Celtics quickly learned that they need more than Isaiah Thomas to score. Marcus Smart and Avery Bradley didn’t produce much offense during the regular season and in game one, showed they aren’t going to change that.

The Celtics need to find someone to score during Game Two if they want any possibility to beat the Cavs. With this, the Cavaliers need to be aware of Evan Turner and Jared Sullinger. Both of these players have shown to produce spurts of offense that can win games and that’s what’s needed to win in game two. The Celtics need to find players to help Isaiah Thomas score in order to have a chance throughout this series.

3. Will the Big Three continue to produce?

More from King James Gospel

LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Love combined for 69 of the Cavaliers’ 113 points during game one of the series. The big three seemed to click on all cylinders and all three finished with big numbers. The concerns of Kevin Love’s health seemed to diminish throughout game one and he looked like the usual Love finishing with 19 points and 12 rebounds. LeBron James did exactly what he needed to in game one and should do the same in game two. The big three need to click throughout the entire postseason if the Cavs look to bring a title to Cleveland. Watch for them to keep up their performance in game two.

The Cavaliers seem to have the easy series they hoped for in the first round. Game one showed a lot of promise for the young team and they look to bring it into game two. Keep an eye out for these key parts during Tuesday’s game as the Cavaliers look to dig the Celtics deeper into a hole.
