Even though we are only two games into the highly anticipated 2014/15 season for the Cavaliers, we have already learnt more then a few things about the team.

In front of a jacked-up crowd and in a playoff-like atmosphere, the Cavaliers were shocked on opening night at the Q, as the Knicks spoiled LeBron James’ homecoming, with a 95-90 win.

The very next night, the Cavaliers managed to turn the tables and pull off what some considered an upset of their own, knocking off the Chicago Bulls in overtime, 114-108, in the Windy City. Many people expect the Cavs and Bulls to be the top two teams in the Eastern Conference, and if we get more games like this one, no one will be complaining.

The Cavs first two games have had a bit of everything- excitement, disappointment, nervousness, happiness and maybe even some anger sprinkled in. Despite that, no one can deny that the first two games have been flat-out fun and that’s how it’s going to be this season. When you have the best player in the world, arguably the best power forward in the game and a 22-year old point guard coming off a MVP-performance at the FIBA World Cup, fun is expected.

With all of that being said, here are 5 observations from the first two games of the Cavalier season.
