The Miami Heat have extended a maximum-salary, five-year contract to free agent forward Chris Bosh. Bosh had recently been made an offer by the Houston Rockets, thought to be a four-year maximum contract.

Well, this news day certainly picked up fast. The Houston Rockets and Los Angeles Lakers are making moves.

The rumor mill never stops. Reports surfaced several days ago Carmelo Anthony had come to a decision to return to the Knicks. Then reports broke that neither Phil Jackson nor any in the Knicks hierarchy have been informed of a decision. According to several reports – see this from NBC Sports – Melo is still very high on the Chicago Bulls. Stay tuned.
