EASTERN CONFERENCE – ARRON AFFLALO

You have to reward winning teams when picking All-Stars, and the Orlando Magic are obviously tanking. Still, Afflalo deserves a mention for his career-best season. He is putting up 20 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game — all career-high numbers — this season. He is a whole lot more efficient than he was last year, and is shooting 42% from beyond the arc. There is a reason why the Magic held onto Afflalo last summer rather than trading him, and why they are seemingly fending off calls from GMs right now.
