Tiago Splitter

2013-14 salary: $10M (4 years)

Splitter is putting up 8.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game this year and is getting paid $10M. It’s a bit of a hefty price to pay for a player who only logs 21.2 minutes per game,  but the Spurs didn’t have much of  a choice last summer. Splitter has been with the team for a while and is comfortable within their system, so they pretty much had to keep him happy. There are certainly worse contracts in the NBA, especially considering the fact that the Spurs front-loaded his contract.
