Remember when Thornton was averaging 21.3 points per game? No? I don’t blame you. Ever since his impressive 2010-11 campaign, he has seen his minutes and his numbers decrease. At this point, it feels as though the only reason he is still seeing the floor is because the Kings want to showcase him and try to move his bad deal. Needless to say, 7.8 points per game on 36.4% shooting from the field is not the kind of production that will get league executives’ attention.
