Mekel makes his debut in the rankings at No. 8. Minutes are not easy to come by in the Mavs backcourt, and once Devin Harris returns Mekel will likely only play garbage time. Still, he has been solid enough and got a decent amount of playing time when the Mavs blew out the Lakers.
