The Spurs rested their starters, but the Warriors needed to win this one to hold off the Lakers and Rockets for the sixth seed. Unlike most point guards, Steph Curry shoots a lot of corner threes. While the majority of these shots come via spot-ups or curls, Curry can actually shoot them off the dribble, whether pulling up or stepping back. Curry is a credible threat from 30+ feet and he’s quick enough to exploit the respect his range earns him, collapsing the defense. Unlike the truly fast guards who need just a go-to dribble move and a counter, Curry can string together five or six moves and then shoot his completely balanced, hair-trigger jumper.
